The Altamonte Springs City Library is hosting an exciting and free summer reading program full of fun and unique activities for kids ages 6 to 13. Each Wednesday offers a different activity to match our theme of the day!

• The Science of Friendship | June 14
  Explore the science behind friendship through fun STEM experiments.
• Symphony of Sounds | June 21
  Discover how different sounds work together to make beautiful music. Guests can make their own instruments and create music together.
• Patchwork Quilt | June 28
  Quilts and fabrics are used in many communities as a way to tell stories. Come join us in weaving your own story by creating your own kindness quilt.
• Wildlife Friends | July 12
  Learn about some of our local wildlife and what you can do to be a good neighbor to them. Special guests include Altamonte Springs Park Rangers and their animal friends!
• Science of Collaboration | July 19
  Animals, insects and nature all work together to help our planet. Learn about how important they are through some fun bee and caterpillar STEM experiments.
• Seeds of Kindness | July 26
  Spend the day learning about proper plant care and how it’s much like planting a seed of kindness everywhere you go.
