All full-time and part-time employees accrue paid leave time and catastrophic leave time on a biweekly basis based on their length of service. Employees also receive nine paid holidays per year (eight declared and one floating holiday).
Tuition reimbursement is available to eligible full-time employees dependent on specific requirements and available funds in each department’s fiscal year budget.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program provides confidential face-to-face and telephone counseling, online access to articles, webinars and videos, as well as legal and financial services to all city employees and members of their households at no charge.
Deferred Compensation Plan
The City provides eligible employees the opportunity to participate in a 457 and/or Roth IRA plans. Participation is employee funded and voluntary.
