The City Clerk is the designated qualifying official for city elections. The 2018 election is on Tuesday, November 6. Qualifying begins Monday, August 27 at noon and ends Tuesday, September 4 at 4:30 p.m.
Qualifications for commission candidates include residing in their respective commission districts for nine months and being a registered elector. Parties interested in qualifying for City Commission positions should contact the City Clerk’s Office at (407) 571-8122.
Forms to register to vote are available at the City Clerk’s office. However, registration applications or changes must be submitted to either the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections, a Seminole County Library or the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Driver’s License Offices.
